Apartment buildings
An apartment building conceived as a prefab building based on a steel frame is designed as a simple two-floor block with a flat roof. The location of units permits variable positioning on a land parcel. The ground floor of the apartment building contains individual apartments with front yards, and their entrances are covered by an overhanging gallery; these apartments are of course barrier-free.
The ground floor of these prefab buildings contains a room that can for example be used as a local community centre, classroom or social hall. These prefab buildings also take into account the option of modifying the ground floor for small commercial spaces. Upper floors contain only residential apartments.

Floor plan of a prefab building with social housing and a community centre. A total of ten 1+kk apartments, five 2+kk apartments, and a community centre or common room.
The load-bearing system used in apartment buildings is designed around a steel frame. This system allows for quick construction of the apartment building (several weeks) and at the same time offers great variability and interior layout options.
The building is built on a foundation slab according to local conditions or client requirements. The interior partitions of these prefab buildings are drywall, and windows are plastic frame. Building heat is usually electrical, allowing for flexible regulation of heat with almost immediate response; we always consult heating options with the client based on local conditions. An electric boiler provides hot water.
