LIGHT MASONRY BUILDING EXTERIOR WALLS
The exterior wall of a light masonry building is composed of light prefabricated blocks that are used to wall up the gaps between the steel frames. Because the steel frame bears the building's vertical load, the masonry walls do not bear any load and can thus be very delicate. The outer side of the walls is insulated. The facade system and interior of the outside walls is lined with drywall. Water, sewage and electrical liens are installed within the outside wall.
